PANG FUK,(7), 15 years, folie, residing on board Fishing Junk No.2523 H.D. native of PUN U (†), states:-

I am the brother of PANG FUT) who is the

master of the above junk.

At about 03.00 hours on 25th October, 1939, I was

asleep in the hold astern when I heard WONG MUK

shout out "There's a motor boat coming." I together with the

other members of the crew at once went up on deck. On reaching

the deck the motor boat opened fire with a machine gun. PANG

FUT, my brother, then shouted out to my sister named PANG WO

to hand up the arms and ammunition. My elder brother

PANG FUT took one rifle and I took the other and we each fired

two shots at the approaching motor boat. The motor boat then

circled around my junk and my brother put down his rifle and

fired the cannon at the motor boat from the port side of my

junk. The white light which was at the head of the motor boat

then went out. The motor boat had no port or starboard

navigation lights.
